Huawei to debut 25W fast wireless charging on the Mate 30

Huawei could be pushing the limit of wireless charging speed northward when its Mate 30 debuts next month.

According to GizmoChina, referencing a “popular blogger” in China, the company’s next flagship will sport 25W wireless charging.

Note, wireless. To put this into perspective, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 currently features 25W wired charging and just 15W wired charging.

It’s a slight improvement to wireless charging speeds, beating current king Xiaomi Mi 9’s 20W wireless charging.

But the phone won’t likely be known for its wireless charging speeds when it reportedly launches in September.

Set to sport a circular camera array on its backplate, the Mate 30 could include two 40MP snappers within it. Additionally, the phone’s also set to arrive with the Kirin 990 chipset on TSMC’s 7nm EUV manufacturing process.
