Jackson Higgins: Thank you for joining me today. I thought it’d be nice to, first, talk a little about your role at Con Ed. I know your background in security has been quite vast. Maybe you could talk a little about how that brought [you] to where you are today.

Valente: Sure, I’ll start with my current role. I’m [the] deputy CISO at Con Edison. So, in this role, I’m really supporting the CISO as — kind of ensuring continuity. [I] make sure that when the CISO is not around, I’m there, and the other way around. I’m also responsible for the cybersecurity strategy and cybersecurity program management. So again, strategy, program management, [and] anything that goes around the tools that we use. Our projects — internal projects and initiatives.
