There are two methods you can use to install the final iOS 26.0 on your device and remove the beta from it. The first method is through over-the-air.

The second method is more thorough and lets you install a fresh copy of iOS 26 on your device. You can use the Restore or Update techniques in this method. Learn more about it below.

Method 1: Install Stable iOS 26 over the air

  1. On your iOS device, launch Settings.
  2. Go to General and tap on Software Update.
  3. Here, tap on the Beta Updates option. and select the ‘Off’ option from the next page.
  4. Return to the Software Update page and install the available iOS 26.0 update on your device.

Sometimes it can take some time for the iOS 26.0 update to appear on your device. If you don’t see it, try killing the Settings app from App Switcher and try again. If that does not work, then reboot your iPhone and try the steps again.
